Mike Sarne

Born: 6 August 1939, London, England

Mike Sarne has had a varied career.  In the early 1960s he had a fledgling film career as an extra, but achieved a No.1 UK hit with the song 'Come Outside', with another new actor Wendy Richard. After this, Sarne had a varied film and television career, but mainly appearing in musicals and light comedies.  He is also a writer, producer and director on stage, television and in films. He has been a film critic and a presenter of a children's television quiz show, Junior Criss Cross Quiz.
