Douglas Fowley

Born: 30 May 1911, The Bronx, New York, USA
Died: 21 May 1998, Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, USA

Douglas Fowley played many different types in well over 300 films. Rarely uncredited, Fowley rose to supporting player in major films such as Singing In The Rain (1956). Later in his career he found success in television, sometimes in starring roles such as playing Doc Holliday in 'The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp' from 1955 to 1961.

He is the father of record producer Kim Fowley.
